Production Journal

Yesterday evening me and Elliot finally done our filming, we were starting to fall behind because we hadn't done any filming. But now we have pretty much done all our filming, unless we have to film extra stuff because they don't work. 


We filmed after school as we needed empty corridors and classrooms that we wouldn't get disturbed. After waiting for people to turn up and setting up our office scene. We then worked through our story board and a few looks at our animatic and we got all the shots that we needed done.


We only had a few problems like one of our actors didn't turn up and we had turn our band from 4 people to 3 because we were running out of time and we didn't have any other time to film. We had to cut some shots out because of this but we have made sure we filmed other stuff so we can fill in the parts we had to cut. 


The people that we used went well and we were able to film good footage that once edited will give us the edge we were trying to achieve.

This is the one of the boards we plan to use so we can make our setting look less like a school and we can split the office into separate working stations.

This is a room that we may use but we might have some issues with space, but there is a white wall so if we need to do any close up's we can use the wall as it was blank.

Mood Board

This is the logo and slogan we have decided to pick, and the font is from DaFont that we picked because we thought it went well with the genre and style of our band.

  

This is the influences bit, where we have described the Killer Moths influences, such as Blur, Supergrass and Pulp. We have used pictures of them to show their style and show how our band must act.

This is the members part of our mood board, we haven't yet decided who are actually going to be the member when it comes to filming. Each band member will have a different role and position in the band and performance

This is the location part of our mood board, we still haven't decided where we are going to shot our video, but we are trying to decided between a park/woods or maybe in an office to change the relationship between the lyrics and visuals

Here is the lyrics of the song we have choose. We have also printed off and picture of a pint of cider as this is one of the things our band members like to drink. We have also printed moths to emphasize the name of the band.

These are the kind of props we may be using when we finally shot our video. Elliot has a guitar just like the one on the mood board but it is a game controller, this will add a comical effect to our video.
